WEB DESIGN + SEO
Websites designed, built and updated on WordPress, Shopify and other platforms, with the SEO done right from the start.
I design, build and update websites myself, and I have spent more than 15 years in SEO. That combination matters. A redesign is the moment most sites lose their search visibility, and an update made without SEO in mind can quietly undo years of work. You get one senior person who builds the site and protects the rankings.

LONGEST CLIENT ENGAGEMENT
Most of this work is one of three jobs. A new site for a business that has outgrown what it has. A redesign or a move to a new platform. Or the steady stream of updates a live site needs: new pages, layout fixes, speed work, forms that stopped sending, plugins and apps that need replacing.
Most web designers treat search as something to add after launch. By then the addresses are set, the templates are built, and the gallery or product grid loads in a way search engines struggle to read. Fixing that later costs more than building it right.
I plan the structure first: which pages exist, what each one targets, how they link, what the titles and headings say, how images load and what structured data each template carries. Then the design and the build follow that plan. It is the same work I do in technical SEO programs, done before launch instead of after.
Send the site address and what you want it to do better. I will review the design, the build and the search side, then reply with what I would change.

PLATFORMS
WordPress and Shopify cover most of what small and mid-sized businesses need, and they are where most of my build and update work happens. I have spent years inside WordPress at the code and server level, and on Shopify I work directly in theme files and Liquid.
Other platforms come up too. I have built layout-shift fixes on BigCommerce and carried out a 60-hour implementation directly in Sitecore. If your site runs on something else, I will tell you plainly what can be done where it is and when a move is worth the cost.
Custom templates, page builds, speed work, plugin cleanup, hosting moves, and WooCommerce product and category pages.
Theme edits, custom Liquid sections and modules, collection and product templates, and native redirect maps in place of apps.
Updates, fixes and SEO implementation on BigCommerce, Sitecore and other systems, with an honest read on when the platform is the problem.
PROOF
Every example here is documented in a published case study. For Lucky Panda Kids I developed a custom Shopify Liquid module that serves related-search links across 27 collection handles, delivered new page designs in Shopify-ready HTML with four layout options, and replaced a 6,297-rule redirect app with a clean 879-row native Shopify redirect map. For Irwin Naturals I hand-coded a rules-based related-collections module in Liquid that is still live.
On the MarineMax move from Sitecore to Shopify, I built the 10,553-row redirect map and moved 239 blog posts, 141 collection pages and 72 location pages into Shopify. On WordPress, I managed a full hosting migration to WP Engine for Water Feature Pros and planned the consolidation of three acquired-company sites for Stoneridge Software. Read the case studies.
REDESIGNS
A redesign is where most sites lose search traffic. New addresses launch without redirects, content that ranked gets cut for a cleaner look, and templates ship without titles or structured data. I map every URL before anything changes, carry over the content and signals that matter, check the staging site before launch and watch the live site closely after it.
If another team is doing the build, I can handle the SEO side of it instead. The website migration page covers that process in more detail.
SITE UPDATES
Not every site needs a rebuild. Many need a steady hand on the changes: a new landing page, a fix to a mobile layout, a slow template, a form that stopped sending, navigation that no longer fits the business. I make those changes directly, in staging first where the site allows it, and check the search side of every change before it goes live.
Updates can be a one-time list of fixes or an ongoing part of a monthly program. The pricing page shows how that fits with the SEO work.
FOR ARTISTS
Artists and makers need a site that shows the work well and gives collectors, galleries and designers an easy way to inquire. I design and build artist websites with portfolio, series and artwork pages, a shop for prints and originals, and the search structure that helps the right people find them.
Smaller update work follows the same idea in a shorter form: agree the change, make it in staging where possible, check it, then ship it.
Send the site address and what you want it to do better. I will review the design, the build and the search side, then reply with what I would change.
Request a ReviewBoth. I design, build and update websites, and I do the SEO. The two are planned together, because the way a site is built decides how well it can rank.
Mostly WordPress (including WooCommerce) and Shopify, for new builds and for updates. I also work on other platforms such as BigCommerce and Sitecore, and I will tell you honestly when a platform is holding a site back.
Yes, and that is usually where I start. A rebuild makes sense when the platform or the templates are the real problem. Otherwise targeted updates cost less and keep what already works.
It can, which is why the URL map, the redirects and the content plan come before the design. A redesign I run is checked in staging before launch and monitored after it.
It depends on the number of templates and pages, the platform and how much content moves. Projects are quoted at a fixed price after a short review of the site, and ongoing updates can be added to a monthly program. Send me the site and I will reply with what I would change.
